Max for Live allows for a lot of freedom for customizing hardware controllers to work with Live. Realizing this, several hardware manufacturers have released controllers that make use of Max for Live in some way. The first of these companies, Monome, originally released a grid controller whose software component was based on Max/MSP. Other companies like Novation, Akai, and Livid Instruments soon followed with their own grid controllers. Most recently, Ableton joined the field with a grid controller called Push. Below are a collection of links with a range of information on these hardware devices and more.
